Privacy policy (GDPR)

Kova respects your privacy and processes your personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Below you can read which data we process and why.

Which data we process

When you fill in the contact form, we process: your name, the name of your business, your email address, the type of business and your message.

Why, and on what legal basis

We use this data only to answer your request and to send you a proposal. The legal basis is your consent and/or taking steps prior to a possible contract.

Who we share it with

To make the form work and to be able to reply to you, we rely on a few external processors:

• Kova Leads — handles the submission of the contact form on our own server environment.
• Microsoft (Outlook) — for receiving and storing emails.
• netcup GmbH (Germany) — for hosting this website.

We never sell your data and we do not use it for advertising.

How long we keep it

We do not keep your data longer than needed to handle your request and to meet our legal obligations. After that it is deleted.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability of your data. To exercise those rights, send an email to KovaSites@outlook.com.

Kova is established in Belgium, so Belgian supervision applies. If you disagree with how we process your data, you can lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority, Drukpersstraat 35, 1000 Brussels — dataprotectionauthority.be. If you live in another EU country, you can also lodge a complaint with your own national supervisory authority.

Data outside the EU

Your data is stored on servers in Germany. If you contact us from outside the European Union, your data is still processed under the GDPR, as described above.

Cookies

This website uses no tracking or advertising cookies. On the Dutch and French pages we store only your language choice locally in your browser, so the site remembers your preference. No consent is required for this.

About the example sites

The demos in our showroom (LUMÉ, BAAS Barbers, Meti Barber, Yoga Essence, MERK & VUUR, KÖZ, Raamwerk and AARDE) are fictional. Names, copy, prices, photos and reviews are illustrative and do not refer to any real business or person.
